Future Haus was a concept pop-up store in the center of Berlin, showcasing products from 9 smart home and mobility startups. The concept grew out of my frustration about the outdated design of retail spaces, and particularly their inefficacy for showing connected products. Future Haus ran concurrently with Europe’s largest Consumer Technology Faire, IFA. Additionally, Future Haus functioned as a community event space for discourse around topics of open source & IoT, manufacturing, data privacy and others.
